Attic bedroom colour

We are stuck on what colour to paint our master bedroom. It's an awkward shape as you can see in photos, it will come all painted wimbourne white as it's a new build. We have a grey/beige carpet and a dark grey velvet bed. No bed linen, blinds or light fixtures yet.

blue grey by farrow and ball.

One option would be to choose a fabulous rug/bed-linen, then pull wall colours to coordinate from there.

I agree with Marylee, choose your bedding, bed etc first then paint the walls to tie in with them.

There are so many different greys and grey/beiges, it's impossible to say which colour to paint the room. And I agree with the above comments, that it's easier to match paint to fabric (bed linen/blinds) than the other way around.

Having said that, I might go for a caramel colour. Maybe Dulux Spiced Honey or a similar one. Or a pinkish/beige caramel, like in the last photo.

All cosy colours. Nice for a bedroom and I think it will go with the more than 50 shades of grey that exist.

The first photo with the sofa is Spiced Honey. I don't know what the others are.

It depends a lot on the carpet, is it grey that looks cool and a bi blue, or beige and warm? A soft warm colour would be my choice in a shadowy room, something like a dirty browny pink or as Caroline says a toffee or sandy colour.

So presumably you don't want white walls, albeit F&B white (expensive)? Find some bedding, curtains, etc. you really like and go from there.
