You might wish to use a linear light fixture over the table. As a DIYer you could even make one yourself by using two wood pieces with a LED strip sandwiched between them. Use one that allows uplighting & downlighting to be controlled separately or one that includes 'tunable' light (see Glide fixtures at https://www.pureedgelighting.com/all/products/suspension as examples).

As it appears this space may not have any natural light, you might want to try something like a 'skylight' effect (see https://lightglasslighting.com/) above the table (or create a 'window' effect on any wall).

Love what you have done so far. If you are able to lay out table, here is one table that I thought was quite interesting for your room. I also found these unique lights that could attach to wall and hang over table. Just interesting alternative way to go.

A glass table will keep space open and allow views of fireplace. The West Elm table looks too farmhouse in style to me. Your TV and fireplace wall along with furnishings are contemporary and beautiful. Keep that look going.

Oh you already have the table? I thought I read you were thinking about the West Elm table. Sorry. Perhaps you could sell that one and get new one? I think a less bulky one would fit better but I surely understand using what you have. How often will this table be used?

Thanks! Unfortunately the table is upstairs on our first floor so I can’t bring it down without some help. It wouldn’t be used much. I wasn’t sure how to decorate the wall yet either so I just leaned some art that I had for now. I was going to put an upholstered ottoman as well in front of the couch with this pattern since I’m a fan of Studio McGee/Amber Interiors decor

I like this one because your space needs more presence for the lighting. With 9’ ceiling you would need extra post extension. I like these globes. Less cleaning issues than clear.

If you don’t think you will use the table much, and you don’t need it upstairs, try selling it. It’s a nice table, but it feels to big and bulky fir your space. A drop leaf table might be a better choice with art above it and art light above it. I like the low linear look of your built in with your leaning art. It looks great and helps keep that visual linear line going on that wall. Try a large piece on that end wall. Something 5’ high by 36” wide roughly. I wouldn’t add more bulky ottoman to sectional area. The smaller ones move around easier and keep a more open look.
