i need to sort out the dining

area between kitchen and living room in a one bed open plan apartment. Something (or a lot of things) need to change and I’m not sure what I’m not liking.

I had the idea of two storage units either side of the kitchen entrance to make it look more streamline. It’s currently not looking like a designed space. The mirror and radiator is wrong.

I was thinking of putting in ufh and wood floor. This is tricky also because the kitchen is different wood to the doors. Any help would be amazing thank you. Ans r by
