I would try some different neutrals such as Little Greene 'Slaked Lime Dark' or Farrow and Ball 'Light Grey17'. It a lovely bright space and the floor is very warm and quite strong so I would go for a warm stoney neutral that complements the floor and the range. If the paint is more obviously blue of green it will make the floor look even stronger. Little Greene does oil based so I would use that over water based. Hi Maja Anthracite grey is a wonderful colour, and probably the most popular on all our products at the moment! They look amazing on houses, although sometimes the brick colour or rendering can mean they may be too dark or perhaps need less contrast, so they may not be right for everybody. A recent customer's house had a visible dark roof, so anthracite grey was a bit too much, and they chose a pale grey instead... I think your brick colour is lovely and pale so will contrast very nicely and will look amazing with anthracite grey - especially in the sunshine! Finished with a timber effect foil, you will hardly notice the difference between uPVC and original timber - except you will be getting all the benefits of a modern maintenance free window. You may want to look at a Solidor Composite Front Door to further enhance the look, security and low maintence qualities to the doors and windows of your home.

Hi Sarah, If you are open to it, I suggest painting the doors a soft pink. As you say the worktop and flooring doesn't really need changing and whilst you can re-paint the doors a fresh lick of paint it hasn't really answered your dilemma. If you want to add a bit of warmth, soften the black and cover up marks I'd look into a soft pink something like Calamine or Pink Ground both Farrow & Ball would look lovely. Adding pink will give it a modern edge and I think would work really well against all the black. Sorry this was the best image I could find with black worktops and pink units: I would also change the colour of the walls to a softer creamy pink just so it feels more balanced. I like the colour but we have very similar carpet in our lounge and I hate it. It’s being ripped up in a few months. Because of the texture it went to look scruffy very quickly - lots of pulls in it and difficult to clean ☹️ Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you have pets either
