cabinet hinge help

Can I and how could I adjust this hinge so the door doesn’t open past 90 degrees? I have a wall it opens and bangs into.

Brand dependent they make a hinge limiter or restrictor.

That hinge cannot be adjusted for that, but you could attach a 6-8" length of decorative chain from the inside of the cabinet to the door frame to prevent it from swinging too far.

As far as I understand, butt hinges are not adjustable in the same way concealed hinges are and require more attention to detail from fitter for an exacting finish. This means that as your doors warp/drop one can't simply readjust the hinges to account for this with butt hinges. Personally, I prefer the look of butt hinges on in-frame kitchens but would generally opt for concealed myself for this reason.

Hi Jo, the windows are on the first floor and not in a loft, looking out onto flat roof, I would like to walk out of the window and onto the flat roof but for safety reasons will need a rail preferably glass so we have a view. I need something fixed so children don't fall out but something that has a latch that I can use to clean the roof light etc...

Another easy fix is to put a small clear bumper on wall where the cabinet hits it.

Thanks all! When we have other cabinet people in to do our bathroom remodel I will ask them to change those out to hinges that can be set. I wish our cabinet ppl would have informed us

Your cabinet people should have put in a spacer.

I wondered. I was on you tube and thought I saw a clip of a guy adding a spacer but I don’t even know what hardware or how to find that for this 🤦‍♀️

Thanks! That’s an idea. I don’t like the look of this but also with small children I can see this being pulled on which may be worse than the wall issue.
