Wallpaper recommendations

I have had my eye on this wallpaper (by Graham and Brown) for sometime, but wondered if anyone had seen similar by other artists. As it’s expensive I didn’t want to go for the first thing I saw!

heres a few more photos to help. I have soft truffle from laura ashley in the porch behind the curtains and under the stairs on one wall. I always think coming through the front door id like a console on opposite wall but practically doesnt suit as corridor down to the left. I think the comment on too much plaid could be spot on, I could move that rug down the other hall, def lets the stairs shine. I dont know if im brave enough for dark grey everywhere, but getting samples to let me see!

Thanks so much for your comments! The walls and door frames are currently white not cream my apologies for the bad lighting, the bedspread isn't normally on, it's my back up for when my normal one is in the wash! The bedspread is normally cream with gold trim. The birds and flowers on the wallpaper are actually gold which is why is suggested that colour as is the frame on the mirror. It's a very subtle washed down gold nothing too in your face!

Hi Sarah - me either and it was *whispers* £195 a roll 😩.... A friend asked if I'd used cake mix instead of wallpaper paste lol. I had decorators put it up - I wasn't watching, so not sure if they had pasted the paper vs pasted the wall? If that makes a difference? I also had decorators come back a few weeks ago to do touch-up paste on the edges as I could see it started to shrink. Another friend asked if the room gets a lot of sun? Maybe that had dried it up? I'm just trying to decide whether to see if it can be fixed or just paint the wall instead?
