Small room ideas

I'm looking for ideas for a small second bedroom. I'd like to make it a dressing room/snug. Sloping ceiling so I am limited with furniture choice.

Small rooms can be great as it forces innovation, even a sloped ceiling can be fun. Could you share some picture so we can see what you're dealing with please?

Don't use dark colours, go with bright and light. Storage wise get a small dressing table and possibly fit some racks on to the wall for a hanging wardrobe. A room divider would be gorgeous!

Hey everyone! Good to hear from you all again. We have 2 wks before we go back to school. It's been a busy summer but good. My boy (14) is in marching band and they've been practicing all summer for the fall football games. He is worn out. My girl has been playing with friends and is doing a bit of a room redo herself (she is 10). Nice to see you all are well. We took a weekend a bit ago to Chincoteague VA and it was great! I must admit I would go for a screen similar to that shown in the 2nd pic by man about the house. In terms of making it feel more spacious then larger tiles typically work with the tiles run horizontally to the long walls on the floor and then horizontal on the walls. You could keep walls and floors the same or go for something different on the walls but with little contrast. I'd have a really large mirror on one of the long walls. A floating trough style vanity rather than floor standing. I'd also go for the shower head on either long wall so you can have a niche for shampoo etc on the end wall

Hi. Do you mean the room that is called utility but has a bed in it in the plan? Do you know if the walls to the utility and kitchen are structural or not? It looks like the kitchen is a bit dark and gloomy too, is that an issue for you? I guess the simplest thing to introduce some light to the utility would be to punch a window through into the living space to mirror the kitchen however I think a bigger redesign could improve the kitchen space too if those walls are removable. Do you really need the third bathroom for guests or is that overkill, it might seem crazy to take a toilet out but in a small flat on one level it seems a bit unnecessary. I would be interested to hear your answers
