What would you say was the nearest colour to Tom Howley's Nightshade it's for a hallway project

Hi Hu-437254418 ... I’m sure you can do without adding more to the mix! But for what is worth, see what you think of these, predominantly from Paint & Paper Library (assuming you can get this brand in Ireland) ... The first picture is a selection of blues, with examples below. Notice how the colour can appear different from image to image (see Blue Blood in particular. I’ve used Paint & Paper Library on woodwork and as a paint, love it. I hear great things about Mylands too (& Colourtrend). Also has potential as a lighter blue is Farrow & Ball Parma Grey, has good depth to it despite some of the images on website looking quite pale.

Looks like Abutilon, but I’m 100% sure. Comes in many colours and has palmatum leaves.

Photoshop is a good tool for colour matching. By importing the photograph and using the eyedropper tool the programme allows you to see the RGB colour code. This way if you can't find the brand or make you can get custom paint made up at most DIY stores at affordable prices. This does rely on having a photograph with good lighting! Hope this helps :-)

I‘ve seen on a couple of forums that they apparently use Sherwin Williams paint so you could look at those. The colours may well look different in your space though
