Hi please can you help me with a colour for our loving room. I have included pics of the sofa, fireplace and lampshade (may change this). I am not sure on how to tie it all together and make it feel homely. Thank you
I think it looks great already! Have you thought of going dark? Those tiles would look great in a dark room. We have similar carpet in ours and we went for Inchyra Blue on the walls. There are some photos on Instagram @casa1930s
Looks a fairly neutral room so several colours would go. Do you prefer pale shades, something bold or a deep shade like navy or green. I find a room is cosied up by adding curtains, cushions, rugs and art.
I would have loved inchra blue but husband isn't keen he want egyptian cotton on the walls. These pics are great I need it all to pull together with accessories. Thinking maybe teal or navy. Our kitchen is navy blue is this over use of blue? I always wanted a berber type rug now not so sure.
Egyptian Cotton is a lovely neutral. It’s beige with a hint of pink in certain lights. I have it in my hall. You can never have too much blue in my eyes, such a restful colour as is pale grey-green if you want a bit of gentle colour.
I think a pale green would look nice. Have you looked at Farrow & Ball Cromaty? It’s a lovely pale green with a bit of a shimmer. To save paying F&B prices get it mixed elsewhere. Johnstones do a very good colour match I have it in my office
