Ok, Looks like what you've got is a cast iron hob insert, its a ‘fire place’ but not a ‘fire surround’ eg the mantel. its a shame to get rid of it but its yours to do with. the grateing looks to match the main hob but I doubt the pressed front plate is original, in fact with the moulding at the base of the grate bars I doubt it ever had one. As for value its hard to say, its cracked which is an issue but its a lovely casting, rather then selling it yourself you could sell it to a reclamation yard, you wont get as much as selling yourself but it WILL sell rather then knocking around. Also just be warned; NEVER transport it flat, cast iron can't take it, if you have to transport it always stand it up unless you want alot of pretty cast scrap. age wise it looks vaguely regency in style but I suspect its later, maybe 1860's on
