Personally I think you should consider putting in doors to your garden and then plan the kitchen around them

If this is a gut-and-start-again I agree with Jonathan. Unless you already have door somewhere else. A floor plan is often easier to see the rooms dimensions to offer advice. However, having a kitchen sink next to a window is a bit old fashioned now we use dishwashers and vegetables don’t require the extensive washing they used to. You would look out more if it was used for a seating or prep space.

Here is the exterior, there is already a door to the outside form the dining room. It's going to be as low cost refit as possible

Our advice is to think about this - your fridge, oven/hobs and sink have to be in a triangle shape for maximum functionality. If you consider this, everything else is up to you and how it makes you feel!

As a low cost refit, moving the plumbing and putting in larger windows is quite expensive. if you could change the radiator to plinth heaters it would give you more options with placement. You do have a lovely high ceiling and taller cabinets would increase storage at the top for occasional items.

Thanks for that but worktop wise I'm having only lower units, no uppers. What's an average cost to move the sink further on the same wall, to close up a window and to make one bigger?
