Dining table chairs help

Hi,
Can anyone suggest nice dining chairs for this white table from Made? I've soft greys, sea blues and oak tiles in the L shaped kitchen living room area. The island has a white with silver flecks and I'm going for a relaxed scandi feel. I liked wishbone chairs in natural wood but the sit out a little too far from the table and now I'm stuck? I'm on a budget so nothing too expensive. I don't think I like the plastic scandi look with angled legs but open to any other suggestions! I was hoping maybe something wood but with rattan or faux Leather for comfort sitting down. I also like the hans Wegner style but theyre a little out of my budget.
Any help would be appreciated!

Whilst searching I’ve found several rattan chairs but they are pretty pricy. I’ve got these padded fabric chairs in green from John Lewis and they are so comfortable. Not suitable if you have little ‘uns. The price is for 2 chairs.

They're lovely but indeed I've 3 youngish kids so faux Leather would have to be the choice if they're upholsteredὠA

If you have the bench built by a carpenter you should consider storage. You can have drawers (most expensive) openings for baskets (buy the baskets and build around it!) or top opening which would be good for things you don't need to get to very often. You could do a custom cushion to fit it or loose cushions, for the base cushion if you can't stretch to custom look at cushions for garden seating or Carolyn Donnelly in Dunnes (not sure if you have Dunnes) do rectangular flat cushions. Consider looking at a second hand website for a round table with pedestal and paint it if you don't like the finish. I find them for my clients all the time!! The one in the pic is IKEA I think and won't be very durable but a good stop gap option. You could also look at benches in IKEA and put together your own bench. It is worth the effort as you are sort of adding a sofa to the area and I am sure it will be one of your favourite bits of the house. Good luck with it!!

I didn't vote, I don't want either really. I'm not into things that make a "statement". I like thing to be harmonious, which compliment and co-ordinate with each other, no one item thing standing out. I don't mind things that are a focal point of a room, but I don't want them to dominate the rest of the furniture or furnishings, so you only see that one thing. Besides, who am I making a statement to?

Or some spindle chairs in a sea blue and use sheepskin (?) seat pads. These were John lewis, £189 for two. Then have a wood bowl, jute mats, vase of stems etc for warmth and texture

Yes, i think so, again if you dressed the table to add warmth and texture.

i do also like the brown version though and you could add some blue for the table to tie it in

I've got these Santino chairs and they're super comfortable but it seems currently out of stock. Something nutty brown would look good with the blues.

so speaking from experience with 3 children and dinning room chairs (not to mention sofa cushions) something like this works well with your colours, its washable and really bright. These chairs are from a site called fusionliving.co.uk they are called Eiffel Inspired White and Blue Dining Chair with Squared Light Wood Legs.

I like it, they’re a classic. It’s a “copy“ of a Cesca chair but cheaper than i found before! It might be worth ringing your local dunelm to see if they have any on display you can look at but think it would work well
