Seems a bit gray. You can order a sample or call and ask them about a duck egg blue.

It's THAT dress all over again! I think with such a striking material you need to carry it through to the rest of the room. As Carolina suggests, with more blacks and bronzes / golds. Either go dark for the whole room, or keep the walls light and use black and gold as accents.

I used non-slip on my leather sofa- the stuff you put on the floor to stop rugs sliding. It did help keep sofa blankets etc in place but I must confess a fabric sofa (which I now have) is much easier! Alternatively, could you get the back and seat cushions recovered or do it yourself if you have a sewing machine?
