I use command sticky tapes and hooks for this purpose for my girls. Works well and doesn’t damage the paint. It works better on non Matt paint though. Hope this helps :)

Have a look for hard wall picture hooks. They are usually a plastic hook with three pins in it to hammer in. They work well. Will leave a hole in the wall when they come out though (at least in my experience).

Hi. I have a question about hanging heavy mirrors or pictures onto a plasterboard wall. If you have a plasterboard wall dabbed onto a breeze block wall is it best to use a metal anchor fixing, or use a rawl plug and screw long enough to reach into the breeze block and grip into that? Just not sure about putting lots on weight onto the metal anchor fixing and thought going into the breeze block might be better?
