Is this dining table set too much for a smallish room?
Comments (4)The pic with the colours chairs works so well as they are the only coloured things in that set - if you want them to be as stunning - I think you need to emulate the set - ie white walls and white floor ! If you go with the darker wood floor that you are considering - personally - I think it may loose a little of its Wow ! ( will look fantastic with white plates !! And the three colours used as serving or side dishes /napkins etc )...See MoreBlue and grey or yellow and grey? (Both?)
Comments (9)I would also add a touch of navy. Personal preference are the JL curtains with the plain grey shade. Again personally I'd go for white bedding with navy and mustard throws, one in velvet would be nice. I'd add something in brass and you could also add another ikat pattern. Flowers/plants real or good faux are always welcoming http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-IKAT-Diamond-Navy-and-White-Geometric-pattern-design-filled-cushions/332252466972?_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dbe197c8c1327401ba9e5e22ee5a4ff30%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D332252466972&_trkparms=pageci%253A89bb752e-6b0d-11e7-b3a7-74dbd1802132%257Cparentrq%253A5164eb8e15d0aa11f1f20725fff232f7%257Ciid%253A1...See MoreColour and flooring dilemma for grey and blue kitchen
Comments (5)I would suggest porcelein wood effect tiles too. They are tough and easy to clean and some are incredibly realistic. They come in every colour from white to deepest mahogany. I always think wooden look floors look so good wth grey or blue units. My stepdaughter has them with UFH and she is very pleased With them. Walls - i actually like white, but you could go pale grey and paint one or two end walls in a bolder colour? Wall tiles are a very personal thing, but how about small geometrics in white? Nice clean look but a bit more funky than metros. Here’s some pics. FEATURE WALL PORCELAIN WOOD AFFECT TILES CUTE HEXAGONAL WALL TILES...See MoreWhat colour dining table set is best?
Comments (8)Okay, I'm sorry for reviving this but can you guys please choose another piece for me. I feel guilty for asking again, but I need help! So now I have the blue curtains, the yellow dining chairs, my light grey sofa will be arriving soon facing right, in front of the right blue curtains. I am now wanting to buy this: https://www.swooneditions.com/plymouthrec As my coffee table/footstool in front of the sofa. I am liking, in order: - Kingfisher Teal - Ink Dark Blue - Midnight Blue I really do like the Teal, but I am wondering if there is now too much colour in the room. Blue, Teal AND Yellow, that just looks like paint explosion no? Do you think? The two blues - on one hand I am saying it will look good as it will match curtains, on the other hand, I think it might look samey samey, but I just don't know the rules. Or do you think other colours look good? I was thinking maybe Yellow again, but then that's too much yellow, and yellow doesn't look the best as an ottoman I think? Please help :P I can't put another poll unfortunately Thanks,...See More- 4 years ago
