I like the hamajima takuya vases, I find a lot of Japanese pottery is timeless, it goes equally well with antiques or contemporary themes, elegance is a prerequisite for a Japanese potter.

I would only buy this if it was significantly cheaper than a vintage sideboard - perhaps up to £500 for veneer, maybe £1000 if it was wood. I probably wouldn't buy something that was just MDF unless it was a cheap disposable piece of furniture. To me, the coloured ones have that "upcycled" look rather than a "vintage" look, so personally I prefer the plain wood finish and would pay more for this. I would buy other pieces in this style - perhaps bed and bedside tables because it's hard to come by a vintage midcentury bed.

Veka has come under my radar among a couple of other german brands, it seesm the problem is the company that get their profiles and matches with furniture that is nog good quality so besides the brand, also the factory that put everything together is another variable in the equation to find a good window. definitely not the easiest thing task so far, not as easy as I hoped to go somewhere and buy something that is exactly what it says on the box

Hi all, I know this is now several months old - however I’ve finally reached the top of my decorators list and he comes next week to paint the front door. I opted for Little Greene Celestial Blue as recommended by Sonia (thank you!). My question now is should we have celestial blue on the door frame too, or should we stick with white?? A quick Google search show pretty much a 50-50 split!!! Thanks in hope that someone reads this 🤞
