I have recently purchased these in white and the quality is appalling. There are chips on the shelves and they are very badly made. I should have gone to IKEA. Thank heavens I didn't pay full price for them otherwise I would have returned them straight away. Very disappointed...

How did you resolve the kitchen wall lighting in the end?? I would be really interested to know what you did and whether you are happy with the result, as I am in the process of purchasing a house with exactly the same set up on the wall where the hob is, and am wondering how best to create ambient/task lighting over that worktop.

He he, thanks all! The heating hasn't really been on while the guitar was just propped there so don't worry @E D 😉 Quite warm in this room so we tend to put the log burner on at night instead. Funnily enough, the OH said this morning about mounting his guitar on the wall so might do that. Cheaper than buying a trolley for it 😂 Yes the plan is actually fake so has a little pot and will get a bigger one for it 😁 X
