The tiles in your first pic are beautiful. Very Scandi and a modern take on the Victorian tiled floor. I would choose light grey tiled for the shower and off white or pale grey walls. The wooden vanity would go so well.

I know it's bewildering when there's so much choice nowadays. When I had my bathroom renovated, I actually chose the floor tiles first (hex marble effect), and looked for ideas online with similar floor tiles. I had an oak effect vanity installed to give some warmth to what is overwhise a white and grey room. Being fairly neutral it can be brightened up with coloured towels and accessories.

If you're absolutely certain of these tiles then use them. They are visually quite busy so perhaps think about contrasting them with plain tiles as a contrast. My issue with showers is grout and so I would always use huge tiles in showers to avoid too many grout lines. I like these images below with the pattern on the walls and plain floors.

Thanks all for your help. Yes we are only having patterned floor, wall tiles in wet area largish white. I love the look of wood vanity but when we saw it in showroom it just wasn't quite right, being wood effect. When I swapped for blue vanity in my picture it flet better to me as we will have loads of wood elsewhere on house but what others may see as a boring/dull blue is actually quite adventurous for us! I've posted again on my 'final' decision. Thanks for the help. My nerves are much calmer now with all your friendly and wise input.
