I sometimes use Corel to balance contrast and brightness in my photos, so I'm sure lots of other people do it. If you are a good enough photographer and have the right equipment (with separate flash light for night shooting) enhancement is not necessary. If you have a good knowledge of any graphic design computer program, then you can play with your photos and perfect your already perfect pics :)) So I wouldn't be surprised if the photo is actually real, the most it had done was probably some contrast adjustment just to sharpen the details.

Nice mock up pic of the garden but, the slab steps through the lawn, detract from the varying green shades you have (or could have). The summer house is a nice and smart addition. Although, you may feel some are costly, you should view them the same way you would a property extension as, you can potentially, create extra space (or another room) with summer houses which is a positive. In terms of plants for low maintenance, evergreens will always be an option but, don't dismiss flowering plants as, a garden can be your sanctuary, your private, peaceful, place and as, we at Bouquet Gardens believe, your asset for good health. Pops of colour during the flowering seasons could, help change your mood, inspire you or de-stress you throughout the year.

From having a quick read over everything that has been said, it's a lot to filter through and digest the suggestions that are of interest to you. I can only make a suggestion from an art on wall point of view. Bespoke artwork to compliment your rooms decor is our speciality, and so I would have to agree with the suggestions that what you currently show in your photo are too small and, in my humble opinion, don't bring energy and interest to the room. Hi. I would pop down to ikea and go for something scandi inspired! The room looks light and there are grey tones in the wood so would go for light grey ŵalls. Dulux dusted moss 2 is a lovely colour with some warmth but do test it depending on room orientation. Consider painting the doors and architraves the same colour so so they blend in. I would also paint the window frame white. I quite like the xmas tree! I wouldn't go for a mirror there as it would reflect the cooker hood so would go for one opposite the window. Perhaps a collection of art over the black sofa if you wanted to change it? I would cover the other sofa and just lighten the black sofa a little with throws and cushions, with graphic designs and lots of texture. Perhaps just a plant for the coffee table and a collection of wooden bowls with a vase or something or even a pile of books? I'd also get a rug to zone that space, again with light greys. Do you need the chair as the corner is a little crowded? Like the window box idea and perhaps just clear the worktop a little by the kettle? You can always add little splashes of colour but definitely lots of texture
