Hi @peckadoodle Moles Breath works well with Cornforth White, which is greyer that the photo on their website. I would keep the ceiling white and beams as they are, then paint all of the room in cornforth white and the wall behind the fireplace in Mole's breath to give it a dramatic look. Remember that DULUX Trade centres can match any Farrow & Ball colour in dulux paint, it is cheaper and it will not be flat matt (which unfortunately is not very long lasting). Try it with some sheen in it. Hope this helps. Also, if you have an iphone, download the Dulux Visualiser App and virtually try any of their colours on your walls to get an idea (you might surprise yourself with your colour choices!). Out of curiosity, why grey? is your sofa black or dark brown? If dark brown, I would recommend you try HAGUE BLUE as your accent colour behind the fireplace and Hardwick white in the rest of the room. White would look fab, especially if you have a wooden floor. I’ve got a very dark hall and stairs and I painted it Dulux Egyptian Cotton but it’s maybe a little dingy. A very pale grey would also work. Pick a grey you like then go a shade lighter as a dark hallway can make many greys look dingy too. Good luck.

I think new art is a good idea. We all like a little refresh of wall art every now and then, and I really don’t blame you. I think The Range is good for cheap and cheerful art, and surprisingly good. Wayfair are also good, and for the more special art prints I’ve found King & McGaw very stylish. Of course you could go to an art gallery and choose an original piece if budget allows. I also like the pale green/ grey of the primed upstairs windows. I think it sits very handsomely with the white. Personally I think a nearly white is more forgiving than a brilliant white which seems to be better in very modern houses. Whether you chose a colour instead depends on who is going to enjoy it- if that is you then chose a colour for your taste- personally I would chose an elegant pastel or contemporary dark colour- if you are selling on then whites have universal appeal. And I wouldn’t worry that the side of your house is plainer than the front- personally I like that it has a wider than normal plot and you can see the side. So far it’s looking much improved- well done.
