I also can't tell the scale, but would have built in wardrobes either side of the chimney (shrink the bedside tables!), a dressing table in front of the window. Walk in shower where the bath is currently. Could the bath be angled in front of the spiral staircase at all? Looks like a space with loads of potential.

It is, indeed, a good sized room! I’d be tempted to go one step further than Sarah U-S and create a dressing area: wardrobes the full length of of the 2.44m wall, and a dividing wall of 2.44m wardrobes opposite that. The bed could back on to that divider, or have the headboard half way along the remainder of the long wall. And there’s still probably space for a little reading nook in the acute angle?

That wardrobe is the problem - replace it with storage that only comes ouf flush with the wall and goes to the ceiling. I'd go for shelves for shoes at the bottom, boxes of small items / accessories above, makeup shelf with mirror and lighting, keepsakes on the wall. Your bed should then fit centrally on this wall ( it may partly cover the new shelves). Wardrobes facing the bed.

Hello! Firstly I need to address the idea of extending the short wall into the room and building wardrobes on it - that's a no. Unless you want to be waliking in on it all the time as it's side would have been the very fist thing you'd see when walking into the room. Secondly this: If you can alternete the walls I would streamline the design of the wardrobes/bathroom doors - get a nice simple straight wall with pocket doors in the middle, then build fitted wardrobes on either side and above the door with the wardrobes going up all the way. If you really feel you need to have some king of partition in the room why not have a room divider instead of a wall? You can go for something freestanding (there are a lot of options at different price points out there) or have something bespoke created. Other option is to have no partition at all but zone the bed area even further by adding a panel behind the bed. A big room divider behind the headboard or just a simple box could be enough to frame the bed and table lamps. Hope this helps. :)
