I wanted to put panelling up the stairs but we have this wooden beeding round the top of the staircase and the wall is a different level above and below it!? I don't really like the look of it and it means panelling won't really work as by the time you get to the top of thr stairs its quite low. has anyone else had something similar or knows why its like this? has anyone managed to do something good with it?
