Hi, I am with your husband on this one, the handles in my opinion should be the same height throughout. Aesthetically it would follow the line of sight, if you have centre of both doors your effectively breaking the line of sight and would look odd having it higher than the other.

You need a 'spur' - an electrical source. You can take it from the light switch or one of the ceiling lights. If you come off the ceiling light then you can feed the wire across the ceiling and then channel it down the wall. You need an electrician to do this. You then fill the channel in the wall that you've made and hey presto you have electric where you need it.

I much prefer the oblong storage cabinet. It sits very nicely depth wise with the shelf underneath. However, that cabinet is to large for the sink. It shouldn't be wider than the sink, so a two door cabinet will work better. Also, I'd have a black edge to it to match the bath or paint the edge the same colour as the wall. If you have a bit of flooring left over, you could colour match some paint and have the edge of the cupboard the same colour as the flooring. - I think i'd go for the green.
