Floorplan help please
Comments (5)Could the cupboard next to the kitchen become a downstairs cloakroom or is head height an issue? An obvious toilet in the middle of the living space is not ideal. Taking down the wall between the kitchen and dining room might give you an option to tuck a toilet in the top right corner of the kitchen using the cupboard space. If the kitchen is redesigned to move down and across you might hardly notice the loss of space....See MoreProposed floor plan help please
Comments (68)We've had a change of heart on the front, how does this look with off white render on the right, Agate windows and door. Sticks to the design of two materials that Jonathan mentioned, door then ties in the two sides of the front. Could eventually paint the wood cladding at the back. Thoughts most welcome to the most indecisive mana alive...See Morecreative thinkers please help us solve our floor plan puzzle!
Comments (13)I just screenshot and save as a picture, can be drawn on then. I find that removing the existing room labels and defining features ( like kitchen cupboards) helps to visualise how the light comes in and the possible flow of people. Jonathan's design makes a better flow to a back door, rather than going through a living room or through the kitchen to the garden room....See MorePlease help me redesign a floorplan
Comments (13)Thank you so much. Is there any way you would be able to show a drawing please, to keep the existing bedroom locations but: 3rd floor: replace the basin with a slim shower room running the length of that wall, with a pocket door into the bedroom. Push the run of kitchen units along the right hand side inwards by 1m and, behind it, create a walk-in larder/laundry cupboard 2nd floor: keep the shower room where it is but reduce it in size to another slimline shower room. I’d ideally keep the existing facilities where they are to avoid too much rejigging of water/waste pipework. I wish I could do this myself but all of the ideas so far have been so interesting to see. Thank you all for your thoughts :)...See More- 2 years ago
