Lovely cosy room. Quite busy so I don’t think you need to add anything more. Like that you have lots of lamps, I bet it’s cosy at night. Love the sofa colour. I rather like your door and it would look stunning painted black.

As Sonia says your room is quite busy but it looks comfortable and welcoming. I have a few suggestions which you can take or leave as you wish. Would the wooden chest fit under your TV instead of that table which seems low? Is the alcove on the left wide enough to fit a small console table with a shelf underneath for your logs? The ‘hare’ lamp could then sit on top in the corner thus leaving the small window ledge free. A large round mirror or some colourful artwork would brighten the space above the fire. Your sofa and armchair look comfy but there’s an abundance of cushions which are all the same colour. I’d keep only a couple of cushions and add a couple in a complementary colour from your rug. By tucking the TV cables out of sight and removing some ornaments you’ll have the room looking uncluttered and calm.

Sorry the picture don’t really give a true representation, it’s two sofas in a little cottage the cushions are the sofa. There is a large mirror, you can see the tv cables as the tv turns on the wall to face a dining space.

Your main problem is that the fireplace and the TV area are both fighting for attention. The eye can’t settle anywhere.
A very simple cheap fix is to ensure the fireplace becomes the main focal point in the room. Try hanging the graphic black and white sign above the fireplace or remove this altogether and get something similar (but bigger and bolder) to go above the mantel. It will draw the eye here and allows them to settle on this natural focal point.
I would also paint the wall behind the TV screen a dark tone (try a dark neutral/brown or even a dark grey/black to allow the TV to fade into the background).

Also remove the Table from underneath the TV and keep this area empty if you can.

I only noticed later the cute rabbit ear lamp on the windowsill. I suggested removing it but I hope you have another special location for it.

Hey! Try moving around a couple items and let the natural light take over. If you can, also add in some warmer tones into the room. I think the lamp could be moved elsewhere, to let that area speak for itself. Perhaps try moving the coffee table against the wall (maybe into the middle of the rug and couch back). From there, have another look and then make some adjustments. Perhaps a painting above the fireplace could be a nice touch too!
