Need help with choosing painting color for wall for boys room
Comments (8)You could go for completely white washable Matt, then around each boys bed you could have objects on shelves, rugs etc that are particular to them and their ages. This will help you create a room applicable to both boys. Plain white will also make the room look larger. You could also go for a pale light blue or a light grey as a base and do the same with shelving for night lights etc....See MoreFurnishing teen boy’s (small) room!
Comments (13)Hello again! Thank you for uploading the image. From what I can tell it's quite a small space and to fit all the items you wish, it will be a bit tricky. However, off the top of my head you could use a single bed with storage underneath (if you are thinking long term, you could opt for a full size bed in length-I don't know your son's age so I am not sure if this idea fits for you right know). You could use wall bookshelves to store books and a desk. Alternatively, you could opt for a wardrobe instead of the desk. It depends if you have extra space for clothes or the desk in another part of your flat/house. You could also opt for a two in one type of furniture, perhaps a wardrobe or bookshelf that has the bed integrated (that can be opened and push back up again). However, I don't know if you'll have any room left for anything else. Again, this is all just indicative to give you an idea as I don't know the details of your home or project. The best thing you could do is try and have a play around with masking tape on your floor (if that works) and recreate the dimensions of the pieces of furniture you want in the room. That will give you the best idea of how much space you'll use up and how crowded it could get. It might just be that you end up having the basics (as it is a small room indeed). Hope this helps!...See MoreNeed Help with Living Room/ Dining Room/TV room
Comments (7)Hi Shanna, What a great space. If your mum is not afraid of colour I would certainly recommend some large pieces of art. Does your mum have a preference of the style she would like, rather than be dicated by the space ? I would love to help your mum create her idea space. You can check out my work at www.myclaybrickhome.com/case-studies We could start with a 2D floor plan to get the flow right and then start to build that out into a design. Drop me a reply or email to vicky@myclaybrickhome.com if you want to discuss further. This work can be done online. I am based in the UK but currently working on a ranch home in Dallas.
