Help to remove marks on Quartz worktop please

Hello, I need advice on these worktop stains please. How to get rid of it. Seems like it's creating this mark whenever I am putting any water glass. It's almost on all of my kitchen island. Thank you 🙏

Just standard bleach yes used in toilets etc

I pour neat bleach on mine never an issue always gets stain cleaned up

Could try Bar Keepers Friend but test a small area first as it may dull the surface. Works fine on Corian. You can buy from John Lewis or Lakeland I think.

There are alternatives that are better such as Neolith and Porcelanosa. Both of those you can stand hot pans on. Quartz you can’t and some spice spillages also stain it.

Its hard to tell because of the shadow that the upstand is casting. There should be more quartz at the back to allow for the tap. Mine is in the middle between the upstand and the sink. The quartz running past at the front is narrower. The tap is too close to the upstand. Was the quartz templated properly? Undermount sinks are normally fixed with their lip resting on a batten frame. Was this slightly off centre? It's not correct. I wouldn't accept this, its an expensive mistake.

Agree with Daisy but you can't go wrong with plain white. Yes they are expensive but so practical. No maintenance and it will last forever. It also has broad appeal and will lighten your dark units. You then have a perfect monochrome base for any other colours you wish to add.

Is that the one we use for toilets etc? Are you sure? Does that clear marks like this?

Mines lighter with a vein running through so not as noticeable as yours but works for me when I get rings. Just use a sponge nothing abrasive.

Try BarKeepers Friend. Available as liquid or powder. Issue the liquid on my quartz worktop then go over with fairy liquid and warm water. Test a small inconspicuous area first.

Although your worktops might be tough enough to deal with strong cleaners be extra vigilant to not get any on your cabinet fronts for fear of ruining them.

We don't recommend bleach or bar keepers friend. I would get a proper quartz cleaner. Classic Quartz sell a kit or you could try making a paste with biological washing powder and water .
