Lovely garden (and gorgeous pup!) nonetheless - what a transformation

Yes, I woukd like input from a Feng Shui prospective. This is an area which I believe is important when designing to consider energies in ones home.

New builds have their benefits, though new builds in the UK are built with woeful standards of insulation and energy efficiency, but a retrofit will always float my boat. Considering the energy and materials that have already gone into building a house to me it makes sound sense to update a house that is structurally sound and can operate effectively for another hundred years. It makes less sense to constantly throw money at a fairly ordinary old property that has really had its chips- this is as distinct from saving an old building of historic value. The EnerPHit standard is an interesting option if you want to update an old building to maximise its energy efficiency.

A starting point might be to swap out the front door - the arches of the door aren't consistent with the square of the windows. I would suggest a modern style door, possibly with horizontal  glass to tie with the horizontal windows and the horizontal lines of the slatted blinds. If your overall scheme changes the garage door to wood, or wood style finish, or includes wood cladding, then you could go with a wood finish door rather than painted finish.
