Help with bathroom layout

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on optimizing my bathroom layout. Currently, the plan was to keep the existing layout and have a corner freestanding bath/shower combination. However, the window placement in the room prevents the installation of a shower screen, which is a bit of a challenge. (current bath is about 71cm wide)

One option I considered was turning the bath around to fit a shower screen, but this would result in a shorter bath and splashing water neear the toliet with children as ideally we would keep the toilet were it is due to the soil pipe.

I’m also open to the idea of installing a separate shower, but only if it can be done without compromising on space—it’s important to me that the shower isn’t too small.

The room dimensions are 2.26m by 2.4m. I’ve attached a plan and a current picture of the bathroom for reference.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the best layout options. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation or have any suggestions for maximizing space and functionality while not feeling to cramped?

Thanks in advance for your help
