I am looking to do a low budget uplift of our bathroom to freshen it up for our/guest use and inspire my partner to start fixing up the rest of the house.
Current focus is re storage and lighting near the sink.
Current lights don't work due to difficult to source bulbs, plus I don't like them.
We also need a bigger mirror, storage near the sink and a shaver socket so are looking at a lighted mirror with internal sockets.
I would like the cabinet plus these sconces either side (option 2), however my partner thinks they are too big, will be need a too much replastering after fitting, and that the light from the cabinet is enough.
Opinions?
If we don't go for the sconces should I get a double cabinet or a single?
And should we include an open shelf at the bottom or is this too close to the tap?
