If you re jig the internal walls a little - you can centralise the bed to the windows and have a slightly larger En-Suite - with easy access from office and bedroom, as those are the main areas you need to access it from. Then the walk in wardrobe area (with access to void beyond) can still be a decent size, without compromising the symmetry of the bed position. I haven’t put in the sloped ceiling - so mirror over sink might not be quite as shown and towel storage may not be quite as tall - but this gives you the idea perhaps?

Thanks Jonathan, appreciate the comments and suggestions. Indeed we had initially wanted to convert two of the bedrooms on the first floor into a larger master bedroom suite with dressing room and ensuite. But felt the loss of the middle bedroom would be too much, and the 3rd bedroom on the first floor is tiny. It probably wasn’t clear in my original post, but our plan is to add a new rear extension on the loft floor (directly above the tiny 3rd bedroom and bathroom on the first floor), so the overall floor space will increase. The intention for the new rear extension will be to become a flowing extension of the current loft bedroom, and be either a bathroom or dressing room, together with a roof terrace. I attach a partial floorplan of one of the neighbouring properties who have already done a similar extension...but without the terrace which I have crudely added in! Our dilemma is whether the new room should be either a dressing room or large bathroom? I am inching towards a dressing room as any future owner could convert it into a standard bedroom fairly easily (and would retain the en suite in the current loft bedroom) if and when we come to sell. It’s almost a shame that it can’t be located on the left hand side of the building - so that people sleeping in the guest room could access it via the hallway. If that could be possible - it would be better in my opinion .

Hello Nathan - Thats a lovely bathroom with lots of potential and I am sure you will be able to transform it into something amazing! I suggest painting the vanity unit a dark color - it will help ground the unit and add structure to the room. I think may be a dark blue or a green would look nice. You can also update the handles to match the chrome fittings in the bathroom. With regards to painting the wall - I suggest you paint the wall a light colour like white (unless you want something more colorful) and add in a big mirror on the wall. As big as you can get with the mirror so it frames the vanity unit. I also suggest painting the ceiling and the wall the same colour - it will blur the slanting walls and you will not notice them! I suggest adding some open shelving (wood) on the wall behind the loo to soften the overall look and add in some warmth. You can use this for storage as well as some styling like baskets and plants. And if you can add in some wall art! Here is an inspiration image! Hope this helps!
