The images you have posted are lovely but very trendy. I would steer clear of the hanging pendants next to the bed as I think it's already passe. I like the slats and think they would add a lot of warmth. Is your property owned or rented? I would use battens to fix the slatted panelling as it is easier to remove in the future rather than glue which will damage the plaster when removed. I like the floating nightstand but it depends on the wall as to whether it can be hung or not. You will need a solid wall or at the very least would need to add a noggin or two between the wooden frames if not solid. If you are aiming for a warmer look consider changing your curtains or carpet as they are both cooler shades.
