Missing something
Comments (13)The colours aren't quite right, if my monitor is correct, but they aren't horrible. Your walls should have more pink undertones, rather than yellow, to truly match the floor. But, honestly, I think you should completely decorate and then see what you think. Do you have enough storage in your main bedroom? If not, I would put a large chest of drawers and then that same mirror hung horizontally above it, with a vase, or other couple of small, colourful pieces on it. If storage isn't an issue, a large fabric ottoman with the mirror horizontal would be nice and add warmth. Make either the drawers or the ottoman centred on the wall when the door is closed but obviously they can't be so large you can't open the door. That will give the wall harmony. If that is the wall you are staring at every night from bed, ditch the mirror and find a really nice piece of art that you will love to look at just before you nod off....See MoreSomething's missing...
Comments (7)In my opinion it is that visually you have everything going on on one side of the space only. In my opinion you should put a floor to ceiling rectangular mirror on the wallpaper wall and choose a frame that doesn't compete with the paper.... Perhaps a soft white? I would also be looking for a small circular table on a pale circular rug with a low hanging light fitting above. Then I would put the shelves where the big plant is and try the small plant stand in front of the window. I don't mind the chair but think you need something bigger on the wall behind....See MoreSomething missing . . .
Comments (18)Not sure how new or attached to your bed frame you are, but a nice new deep buttoned tall headboard in a soft pastel colour to match or contrast would be lovely and a pair of bedside table lamps. Would add texture and warmth to the room especially at night.https://theheadboardstore.co.uk/products/venice-upholstered-floor-standing-headboard? utm_source=Click&utm_medium=Channel&utm_campaign=Google_GB&ref=SFDR_27290157&variant=26719818887&gclid=CNTdw6X9kdICFUq17Qod9RgLiQ...See MoreThere's something missing!
Comments (41)I think most of this design is on point and works perfectly for the effect you want. It just needs something to soften it and probably help with acoustics. I would go for a panel curtain on the door. White if you want to keep the clinical type look, but a warm grey would be lovely. Nothing ornate. It will do wonders and feel much more homely and inviting. All the best, Gina...See More- last year
