Help choosing a wall colour
Comments (4)Hiya, I love the idea of a green sofa a wonderful choice to make a statement in the room! I love the options that Naturally Allard has given above and I would advise the same, I personally would opt for an off white with perhaps a slight undertone of green - Lick, Coat and F&B do an amazing range of neutral colours with very low VOC's toxins which is always a bonus. With the more neutral walls you could bring the green together with tones through art work, soft furnishings and interior accessories. I would also consider, depending on the style of course and your personal preference perhaps adding a touch of dark leather for interest and additional texture in the scheme - stools or storage trunks? With regards to making the room feel cosy, I would definitely focus on lighting across the space, even though the room would be a bright colour, adding soft glow lighting in combinations of floor lights, uplighters behind furniture or in plants will add cosiness in the evenings and darker times of the year. Good luck with it and hope you love the sofa!...See Moreliving room help on blank wall space
Comments (3)Choosing art is a very personal thing. I have a couple of generic suggestions that would work in the space - a large mirror in a nice frame or a gallery wall with black and white photos of family and friends in random frames purchased from charity/second hand shops. An easy art project would be buying a large canvas, taping a chevron pattern on it and painting it black, white and gold (or alternative colours to suit)....See MorePls Help with Accent Wall
Comments (4)Sorry don’t quite know what you mean. Are you looking for a different colour to the aqua in that room? Feature walls sometimes can be confusing as it can be a struggle to find colours that go together. If it’s too bright then a paler version would work, something like Ocean Ripple by Dulux?...See MoreHelp with hallway wall move!
