You have a really lovely large space. I agree with Lifestyle Kitchens that your design would benefit from an independent designer, or at least thought through by another supplier to spur ideas. From my perspective.... Flow: Consider the spacing between your sink and hob... I think yours will feel quite cramped when in use. (Imagine a spoon rest, chopping board/ prep area, dirty dishes, etc). If you want to keep both on the outer wall, and think you’ll prep on the island, I would consider putting in a small prep sink. That will also help you interact with any kitchen guests, instead of always having your back turned to them. Where do you plan to keep your dry goods? It appears all your pantry space is in the adjacent room. Perhaps one of the 3 oven towers could be be repurposed? Appliances: The 60cm hob does seem small/imbalanced for the overall space. You might not “need” anything bigger, but a slightly larger hob will be more comfortable for any multi-pot meals. The Clock space.... 2 floating shelves for cookbooks and/or display items and plants would look nice. Drawers: The design does seem to be missing obvious shallow drawer space for your cutlery, knives, cooking utensils, foil & clingfilm etc. Concept designers.... I love the way you have laid this out, however to make it a practical working space, you will need to move your sink should closer to the hob. When designing a kitchen layout, you should create a working triangle between your hob, sink and refrigerator (I have attached an image to explain). To achieve this you could explore the following 3 options: 1. Could you position the stove on the island instead and go with a range cooker instead of separate ovens? This way you will have a working triangle, and can use the other side of the kitchen for storage and larder etc. 2. Explore how much it would cost to position the sink on the island. As you are removing a wall, you will probably be re-doing the floor, so extending the pipes across to the centre of the room, may not be as big a job as you think. 3. Lastly you could explore this layout I have attached - it's not a kitchen island, but will give a similar feel to the room and you will have the working triangle (shown in Red). If you really want an island it only possible by doing open plan kitchen, i will move the utillities as well the current place is awkward and making the kitchen small I will switch the dining and living as well as it closer to kitchen so moving dishes will be closer

Hello, I just had a look at your space and two ideas popped to mind. 1 - A banquette on the right, under the window, would be a nice solution that would free up a lot of floor space for a much more comfortable lounging area. Just check your dimmensions carefully to ensure you'll get those 8 seats in there. 2 - This is a variant of your original layout, but with the table turned 90 degrees and following the linear desgin of your kitchen cabinetry. This would create a visually cleaner layout I think. It would require redesigning the island element so that the stools go on the side by the door.
