Edwardian living room transformed into a statement room. A deep blue colour was used from skirting to ceiling to create a dramatic, cocooning feel. The bespoke fireplace adds to the modern period look.

The fully masked living room received solid dustless sanding, new wallrock paper installation. Painting primers and stabilizers give a solid base for dark color. The ceiling was spray finished and all woodwork decorated by hand painting skills. All walls were painted in 3 top coats to give solid look.

In Winter the sun extends all the way to the back wall to warm the house continuously and for free. Over Summer the sun is excluded from the house by eaves - keeping the rooms at a much cooler temperature than the outside air. The house features a heater and an air conditioner although the clients say that they do not have to use them anywhere near as often as their old house required. The air conditioner is especially hardly used and simply a luxury that the solar panels allow for free.

ce salon perdait de son âme, trop fade, une cheminée avec briques réfractaires qui fait très sale avec ses tâches difficiles à effacer, trop de gros meubles présents qui étouffent l'espace. J'ai donc déménagé l'armoire, déplacé la bonnetière, repeint le manteau de briques de la cheminée en gris ardoise, bleu regard persan de chez Tollens totem, deux tapis en sisal naturel, un joli meuble en bois brut sur pieds métal noir de chez Maisons du Monde, une suspension doré et ajourée Maisons du monde, une ancienne table de cuisine avec pieds sciés pour table basse, beaucoup de douceur apparaît dans cette pièce avec cette nouvelle déco
