A sophisticated whole-home interior designed by Tailored Living Interiors for a luxury apartment at Pico House, Battersea Power Station — one of London's most iconic Frank Gehry-designed residences. The brief called for a scheme that felt both refined and practical: a London base for the client, with broad appeal as a high-end rental when abroad. The result blends contemporary elegance with bespoke functionality — high-street and high-end pieces working together seamlessly, layered with rich textures, considered lighting and tailored details throughout. From the curved bouclé sofa and brass coffee table in the living room to the teal headboard bedroom and space-saving floating vanity in the twin room, every decision was made with both lifestyle and longevity in mind. Sally was asked to design and oversee the complete refurbishment of this stunning yet poorly converted one bedroom apartment set in a handsome period mansion block on the outskirts of Covent Garden in Central London. Enormously high ceilings give this apartment a New York lofty feel while large original windows flood the space with natural light. Sally discovered that original windows and decorative pillars had been boarded up and so immediately set about reinstating these unique period features. A streamlined kitchen with expansive lightly veined worktops and contemporary oak cabinetry was designed to compliment a classic oak parquet floor, giving the apartment a light, contemporary and natural feel. Rich tones of walnut, brushed brass, shades of tobacco and forest green leather, chocolate velvet and earthy linens were all added to create a layered and eclectic palette set against a backdrop of atmospheric teal and interesting off-beat light fittings.

The deep, inky-toned paint was used to wrap the whole room, creating drama and luxury. The period features from this double-fronted reception room were fully restored and the fireplace was restored. We chose a warm wood for the floor, in a herringbone pattern to add a sense of warmth and luxury. A 1920s sofa was reupholstered, alongside a vintage cocktail chair, keeping the palette consistent, and allowing the pops of colour to come from the artwork and feature lighting. The pink Murano glass chandelier is a dramatic focal point, both playful and theatrical. We introduced touches of brass to complement the colours and textures. The velvet on the furniture gives a sense of inviting comfort. Bespoke roman blinds, also in the colour palette of the space, allow lots of light into the room and do not intrude on the sofa placed against the window.

It was a great pleasure to dress and style this spacious ground-floor flat. It has a direct access to a beautiful communal garden with floor-to-ceiling bay widows and French doors. The ceilings are really high - this allows the light to flood in without making it dark so we did not advise that the owner changes the wall colour, it could stay dark grey, it suited the living room. We brightened it with some eye catching modern art and white carpet and dining chairs. Sage green boucle armchairs and a large plant help connect to the outside. there are 2 bedrooms, we used beds with high headboards and made use of a large mirror in ornate white frame by placing it in the main bedroom.

Colour drenching this room in a deep blue, including the fitted cupboards gives this lounge a sophisticated and warm feel. Adding accents of orange to brighten up the space and create a sense of fun, whilst adding a feature wall in a textures almost like a material creates a cocoon effect.

Nos clients, une famille avec 3 enfants, ont fait l'achat d'un bien de 124 m² dans l'Ouest Parisien. Ils souhaitaient adapter à leur goût leur nouvel appartement. Pour cela, ils ont fait appel à @advstudio_ai⁠⁠ et notre agence. ⁠ ⁠ L'objectif était de créer un intérieur au look urbain, dynamique, coloré. Chaque pièce possède sa palette de couleurs. Ainsi dans le couloir, on est accueilli par une entrée bleue Yves Klein et des étagères déstructurées sur mesure. Les chambres sont tantôt bleu doux ou intense ou encore vert d'eau. La SDB, elle, arbore un côté plus minimaliste avec sa palette de gris, noirs et blancs. ⁠ ⁠ La pièce de vie, espace majeur du projet, possède plusieurs facettes. Elle est à la fois une cuisine, une salle TV, un petit salon ou encore une salle à manger. Conformément au fil rouge directeur du projet, chaque coin possède sa propre identité mais se marie à merveille avec l'ensemble. ⁠ Ce projet a bénéficié de quelques ajustements sur mesure : le mur de brique et le hamac qui donnent un côté urbain atypique au coin TV ; les bureaux, la bibliothèque et la mezzanine qui ont permis de créer des rangements élégants, adaptés à l'espace.
