the brick was an inexpensive wire cut brick with a smooth surface. the mortar joints were standard height with a very flat tooling of the mortar joints. the mortar joints have a slight recess from the face of the bricks appearing almost flush. the brick was painted with a white lime wash paint which allows the brick texture and surface to have a slight undulating appearance through the lime wash paint..

David James Custom Builder 7/20/16 I don't recall the exact mortar color but it was the whitest color we could find. The brick was laid standard with minimal raking.
