First off, let me say that I'm a lousy plumber....
In Vancouver, BC, Canada, it was next to impossible to find the nice chromed tailpiece with the 3/4'ID (7/8' OD) branch tailpiece. I checked with Andrew Sheret, Milani, Home Depot, and Rona. Hillcrest plumbing wanted $20 for the rough brass one! (I chose not to be ripped off.)
Did I mention that I'm a lousy plumber? :-) Rona sold a tailpiece that was correct, but I couldn't figure out how to plumb it into my sink. (It needed extra bits.) Canadian Tire also sells the complete kit for dummies like me. (It was complete with the extra bits and had instructions.)
Thanks for everyone's help. My dishwasher is now properly plumbed into my sink with the correct sized drain. Yes, I did ensure that I have a high loop.
