Reply to: My favorite look for a long vanity is a narrower mirror. I like the proportions of the two, and you have just the right space to insert a narrow mirror. You could use a flat 2" white or walnut frame or go frameless. That would be my first choice. If you prefer frameless, on an open wall like yours, I prefer beveled frameless mirrors for a more finished look, but that leans a little more traditional. If your backsplash is tall, you'd have to rest the mirror on the backsplash. If you only extend the mirror to the sink edges, you may get away with not having to move your outlets, or you may have to move them only a little. Mock it up to see how a mirror would fit. Then use contemporary bar sconces over the mirror. I wonder if they used three smaller sconces here, which lights the middle of the counter too.

Reply to: Thank you, it made such a big difference and we spent a total of $60 including the paint and glaze. Hubby just glued the trim right on top of the mirror. Hope these help and good luck with it!

Reply to: I like both, but with your set up, the single mirrors will be fairly narrow for the space because of how close the sinks are to the ends of the counter. Sometimes that is balanced out by a center wall sconce, when you have wall mounted sconces but it will be blank space with your set-up. I would do a mock up with painter's tape or newspaper or cardboard to mimic the size you'd need and see how it looks. It seems it could be awkward to have framed mirrors since the lights are on wood already. I'd fill the area with an unframed single mirror.

Reply to: My last master bath remodel I'd initially intended to keep our original full width mirror until we broke it. Oops! Well, ultimately I think it ended up being a blessing in disguise. We put in two pivot mirrors and loved the look. Received many compliments on the mirrors.

Reply to: A six inch counter riser looks great.!! I never do them short! Just make sure the electrician knows.........: ) Or the surprise will come later. Best is to rotate the outlets, and have them templated INTO the side splashes. the will literally "disappear" into a light top.
