Too grey for me. Island is 3 x 5. 3 stools may got fit under as shown in photo, Burnett t would be tough. Suggest not enclosing the ends of the island but have a counter extension. Use an island with 24 base cabinets on kitchen side with 12 inch overhand in great room side.

This would be my work station? Looks ok. Maybe an after construction upgrade we build after closing? But certainly add electric outlets during construction.

This would not be first choice for a pantry work station. Without the additional 12-16 inches of counter space the other photo has anyone standing here and working at the counter would be banging their head against the shelves.
