I’m looking for an emulsion paint that’s green with a grey tint.

I’ve purchased a sample tin of F&B Light Blue 22. I ignored the name of blue as the colour on the sample and in the tin is definitely more green based.

However, we seem to be back to that ‘wherever you put a grey tint paint I’ll look different in different parts of the room’ scenario.

I’ve done a sample piece in the bay window so it has the light on it and also a dabbing on the wall at the back of the room. The bay window is showing up more blue and the back of the room green. It doesn’t help making my decision because I like the colour in the tin but hate the blue effect it’s giving off in the bay window. Blue is a colour I really do not like in the lounge.

As we are completely re-doing the lounge (suite, carpet and curtains) I’m fairly flexible but want them to all blend together. So I don’t want to order a suite that won’t go with the walls so to speak.

My original idea was a green grey on the walls so I wondered if anyone had a colour choice suggestion that’s close to what I’m looking for. I have Cromarty in one of the rooms upstairs and Mizzle in the hall and neither of them were what I had in mind for the lounge.

I‘m stuck.
