Laundry ideas

Need:
- Washer/dryer - stackable washer/dryer solution?
- Laundry tub - large as per current, with high moveable tap
- Bench space - sm amt? Have none atm?
- Storage - lots of storage, pref cupboards to protect against dust, ideally sealable/cockroach proof
- Shelving - possibly sm amt of open shelving
- Appliance storage - possibly want other appliances stored in shelving/cupboards for use: microwave, dehydrator, chest freezer.
- Room for ironing board
- Quality & finishes - basic/low cost finishes, while still being quality - no budget for fancy finishes/experiments at this stage given grant and lack of reno experience.
- Cupboards - minimalist/contemporary cupboard door finish, consider hardware/push open/minimalist?
- Colour scheme - primarily white - cupboard doors, walls, ceiling
- Flooring - floor tiles? light/white/light warm natural beige tones. Consider lino in light floorboard finish?
- Window - new window in external wall - consider type/finishes. Opaque or clear? Size - larger better? Security - screen? Consider outlook.
- Lighting - not down lights, consider task lighting under cupboards/over bench/tub?
- Splashback tiles behind tub - same as floor? or plain white subway style?
- Internal doors - x2 (between garage n laundry, and between laundry n studio)
- Consider ventilation? Need extraction fan?
- Consider floor drainage? needed?
- Consider whether to allow provision for top loader washing machines or customise to front loaders like ours

Nice to have:
- Rack - hanging garment rack/rod under cupboards/over bench
- Hooks on any plan wall space or back of doors
