Garden
Super raised beds with lag bolts - how about using cedar?
Tiled path that looks like water.
Put a shelf on the outside of the shed.
Vertical raised beds. In cold country, the concrete would create a micro climate that would heat up quickly in the spring.
The wainscot is what would work with my project.
Cross railing for support.
Screened porch addition with horizontal railing.
The design seems simple. I like the addition of the large square wire below the the railing. It uses a minimum railing but look strong.
Beautiful front porch. The continuity draws the eye upward. And I've not seen a patterned roof before.
These don't have to be heart shaped. Any simple shape would do. I'd like to do this with aviation sectional maps or USGS topographical maps.
I like the way the hooks have been attached so lifting the pot off doesn't take the hook with it.
I have a similar situation in my house. The banquet seating would be a good solution for my tiny eating area. And, yes, I love the table. I've tried to find stable that fits; maybe I should have one made.
I love this house! The woodwork adds dimension and character. The white wainscot and wall color contrast without being sudden and jarring. Elsewhere in the house, tongue and groove pine (directly attached to the studs according to the owner) create a cottage feeling without getting too rustic.
This looks a lot like what I'm trying to create on my deck. Notice that the boards on the floor are just regular deck boards. An outside deck rug has been put on top of that.
Amazing head board. I like the smooth, flowing lines and the wood grain.
I like the curved brick pathways. Their geometric forms are softened by curves, and the plants add a rich, wild texture.
The curved balcony and the contrast between the white paint and shiny wood trim.
This is like the blue cat I like.
Sophie hunts like this.
Hunting without giving it away.
This is a good life philosophy.
Oops.
This is truth.
What are they looking at?
Alice sits like this.
Close up of French catitude.
It is the essence of cat.
It's a little cave. Easy to keep warm on a cool evening.
The finished wood is nice. It's easy to see how the structure was constructed.
Love the detail on the screen door.
This looks a bit like my situation.
She'd roof simple design
I like the combination of deck and screened porch.
I like the edging on the raised beds. Also, the gravel between. I really hate monoculture like lawns so the gravel is appealing. There is an interesting discussion on how to keep gravel weed free in the Info section.
The whole feeling is warm. I like the texture created by the counter and back splash.
The entire counter becomes a wall of cupboards.
I like that all the windows are different. Also, they've been recycled.
I love the couch.
Upright garden - could be used for a garden screen.
I like the combination of the rock and pavers.
I like the fact it's on the slope which I have to deal with. Also it looks really wild and natural.
