If there is extra space, we definitely vote ice maker over wine fridge. We make a ton of smoothies and I like cold beverages. We drink Scotch and almost no wine, in case you need that "lifestyle insight" into how we'd use our kitchen :)

We liked this photo because the kitchen looked more like art than a kitchen. It's also a combination of my favorite colors and wood.

I love the beams, clean lines and colors. I also prefer when the cabinets go to the ceiling or there is an architectural element (like a soffit) that fills the space and gives the illusion of cabinets reaching the ceiling.

I like the clean lines, white and grey tones and the wood. I would like a bit of open shelving, but not much. We have very little to display and I wouldn't want things to get dusty. I do not like the bench attached to the island, that's bit too conceptual for me.
