Benches - No support for your back on benches. Like the colour of the wood table. Don't like the light fixture.

Looks too much like a boardroom table - chairs look cheap, like they are covered in burlap or tweed (looks like it could be uncomfortable and not soft material) - not special-very plain
Q
Photo
Plastic chairs - uncomfortable, sweat, stick to them, shows marks - don't like the light fixture - like the mirror, just not sure if I would want to see myself eat all the time, lol.

Table is interesting, but chairs look hard and cheap - don't like the light fixture. Room doesn't pop.

Don't like the dining chairs - look uncomfortable and material looks kinda cheap (Joe doesn't like material - reminds him of twead).

Couch looks wonderfully comfy, but a lot of loose pillows will be thrown everywhere and too much country influence for our taste.
Q

Too dark for a living room. Furniture too heavy and big. Like leather, but needs to feel and look real - too many leathers look and feel cheap. Like the splash of red with the dining chairs.

Do not like the drapery. Not a big fan of drapes or valences, especially if they block out the light. Room too stark - doesn't have a rich, vibrant comfortable feel to it.
Q
Photo
Too feminine. Joe needs to feel like there is male/female balance in the rooms (except for Vanessa and Miles' bedroom). Very victorian feel - would be more appropriate for Vanessa's room.
Q
Photo
Too stark. Don't like the striped ceiling. Not that interesting - don't like the fabric on the couch - very plain. Chairs don't look comfortable.
Q
Photo
Too rustic - cottage feel all the wood. Don't like the light fixture in the living room. Not sure I like the blues and turquoise with the warmer wood and browns.
Q
Photo
Too formal, stuffy. Too much going on with the striped chairs and the patterned rug - makes the room look small, cramped. Like the ceiling.
Q
Photo
Too white and stark. Beanbag chairs great for kids rooms, as long as they don't rip, lol. Looks too cottage-like with the white plank floors.
Q
Photo
Too eclectic - don't like the light or table.
Q
Photo
Too modern...potential for furnishings to go out of style quickly - not comfortable? Do not like high gloss floors - slippery if marble; can look cheap if shiny wood. Hard to keep clean.

Hate the material on the sofa. Don't like florals or patterns on furniture - like it in the accent chairs, pillows and other accent pieces. Room looks dark. Don't like woven furniture inside.

Love colour, but not sure about mixing the turquoise with orange with the brown.
Q
Photo
Too formal and traditional - too white - impractical with 2 kids and 2 cats.
Q
Photo
Too modern - not as comfortable as would like - don't feel like you can stretch out and relax - fads go out of style after a while - too white
Q
Photo
Too much stuff - looks cluttered. Doesn't look like you can stretch out and be comfortable - too formal.
Q
Photo
Too many patterns together.
Q
Photo
Too cluttered, like storage out of sight.
Q
Photo
Too many spaces for clutter. Like space to show off valuables, but not collect stuff on. Don't want tv on main floor - want to make it inviting for guests and ourselves to relax and talk on main floor - discourage kids toys on main floor
