This is my top choice for the sides of the house.
I think we need to do a variety of sizes for our sitting area. I like the spacing of these stones for the sitting area.

I like the idea of closing in the sitting area with pavers that are closer together and with plants.
I like the rectangular pavers and how they are layed.
Lighter pavers with darker pebbles.

I like the short bamboo. Realistically, our pups would destroy the neatness of the gravel and bark. It would be all mixed up in a matter of minutes.
I like the rocks giving a barrier to the potted bamboo.
I would want the plants to be next to our fence and I wouldn't put the round plants in the middle.
