This has the floor corbels at the corner of the island, but the granite is too "Sharp" of an edge. I want the corner jut out to be a softer one. Perhaps the corbel was just too deep?

love the trim and detail work. Hate the island. Would like softer curves for the granite in the island

love the size and the curved seated "overhang" where the stools can be tucked under and hidden from the side view.

This island seemingly has everything I want (with the exception of size). For example, molding instead of toe kick, corbels on corners, cabinets back to back, with the granite overhang but for some reason it's WAY too plain to me. Not sure how to make it more striking and furniture-esqe.

Take a look at the mantel. I was thinking we could modify our existing mantle hood to look like this.
