Something like this tray ceiling in the Master Bedroom.
lights on the beams. Seems old fashioned but putting some type of lighting on beams seems like a good idea.

I like the combination of lighting from the sconces and the upper lighting. I could put the upper lighting on a computer controller for night.

I like the point lights instead of the normal rope light. Also like the power strip tucked into back corner as apposed to in the wall. (GFCI issue?)
