kitchen ideas
i know kassie doesn't like white, but this hits almost all my buttons. tile, deep sink, island, NY tile i could take or leave, but it goes to the ceiling which is super cool. pendants are awesome. i even like the varied lighting based on what you are doing. stools are give uncomfortable and need to go. island cabinets are cool. counter is great. floor is right on too. windows are great. bottom line - i don't think this necessarily fits our house "style" but this is the type of kitchen that would make me happy
kas - i'm not sure i'm on board with a dark kitchen. dark kitchen with one window and north facing parlor will mean it is SUPER dark. doesn't have to be white, but what do you think about this grey? (i'm still partial to some variation of UNC blue :) what do you guys think about dark kitchens - you seen any to wrap my mind around?
kind of a fan of the hidden outlets. cleaner walls. you need to lean down everytime you want to plug something in. but, it's lean down or move the toaster, coffee maker, etc.
